Overview
Flowely is desktop software for NDIS invoice compliance checking, participant record handling, budget tracking, and export preparation. We built it to reduce admin stress without creating a privacy tradeoff.
Most of the sensitive information you enter into Flowely stays on your computer, not on our servers.
Data Storage
Flowely is a local-first application. Data you enter, including participant details, NDIS numbers, invoices, provider details, and budgets, is stored on your device in a local SQLite database.
- No participant data is uploaded to Flowely servers as part of normal app usage.
- No cloud account is required just to use the application.
- Your working data remains under your control on your own computer.
- The local database is stored in your Documents folder at `~/Documents/Flowely/`.
What We Do Not Collect
- We do not collect participant names, NDIS numbers, addresses, or invoice contents from the app.
- We do not collect your local database file.
- We do not run analytics, tracking cookies, or telemetry inside the desktop application.
- We do not have routine access to the information you store locally in Flowely.
What We May Collect
If you choose to subscribe to Flowely, we may collect limited account and support information needed to operate the business side of the service.
- Your email address for subscription delivery, billing communication, or support.
- Support emails or correspondence you send us so we can respond and keep track of the issue.
Payment information is handled by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card details ourselves.
Software Updates
Flowely may check for app updates by contacting an update service. That request is limited to operational information such as your app version and operating system. It does not include your participant records, invoices, or local database contents.
Third-Party Services
We keep third-party services to a minimum.
- Stripe handles payment processing. You can read Stripe's Privacy Policy for more detail on how Stripe processes payment data.
Backup & Portability
You can export a backup of your data from within Flowely. The backup is a SQLite database file that you can keep, move, delete, or store however you choose.
Because your data is stored locally, you are responsible for keeping backups if you want protection against device loss, damage, or accidental deletion.
Children's Privacy
Flowely is intended for professional use by providers and businesses. We do not knowingly design or market the product for children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we do, we will publish the revised version on this page and update the date shown above.
